Hate crime charge filed against woman who spat on Black Lives Matter supporter outside Connecticut Capitol

A New Fairfield woman is now being charged with a hate crime and three other offenses in connection to spitting on a Black woman during a Black Lives Matter protest earlier in the year after she was initially only charged with a breach of peace.
