The outdoor ceremony to honor the 21 Hartford adult learners, who earned their high school diploma in 2021, was moved inside the cafeteria at Global Communications Academy Thursday evening — it was almost the perfect metaphor that sometimes things don’t work out according to plan and you have to change course, but regardless, the destination is always right around the corner.
