Woman, 56, was ‘minding her business’ in her Hartford home when she was shot dead, police say; assault rifle used in shooting recovered

Investigators have located and seized a Kalashnikov-style assault rifle that they believe was used to fire the fatal shots into Cordova’s Sisson Avenue apartment but no arrests had been made as of early Thursday evening.
