Discarded fishing line that led to owl’s death is a hazard for all Connecticut wildlife, experts say

Carelessly discarded fishing line, a continuing hazard to Connecticut wildlife, snared a barred owl at a state park Saturday, injuring the bird so badly that it had to be euthanized after hanging from a tree overnight.
